We have emailed or texted those of you who have been directly affected, and here is a general update on what has been happening.

Lights in the undercroft

A number of you will have received texts last week asking you to contact Site Manager John Baxter about moving your vehicles to or from temporary parking bays on site, or to vacate your parking bay for a few hours while works are carried out to overhead lighting.

Lighting was replaced in the undercroft a few weeks ago and  contractors are returning today and tomorrow to do the lights above the bays they couldn’t gain access to before.

If you received a text asking you to temporarily move bays, but have not yet made arrangements to, then please call John Baxter on 07866787558.  You can also use Sainsburys car park for a three-hour period while the lighting works are completed.

Move to temporary parking bays – 103 to 112 Parade Gardens

New slab paving will soon be laid in the area between 103 and 112 Parade Gardens.

Those of you directly affected will need to move your cars before the end of the day today so the area can be prepared ahead of works starting on Monday 5 December.

If you have not already been in touch with John, please call him today on 07866787558 to collect a fob for car park access. He will let you know your new temporary bay number.

Return to original bays – Goodwood and Lingfield

A few residents at Goodwood and Lingfield apartments were asked to move their vehicles back to their original parking bays and return the fobs to John Baxter by Wednesday 30 November.  Thank you to those who have been in touch and done this already.

If you haven’t yet moved to your original bay, please call John Baxter as soon as possible today on 07866787558 to arrange this so the temporary bays can be reallocated.

We would like to thank you all for helping us complete these works as efficiently as possible.
