As part of our programme of works, we are installing a sprinkler system outside Norfolk Apartments, 90 Parade Gardens. The works will start on Monday 6 February and last approximately six weeks. We wrote last week to those of you directly affected with full details.
In order to install a new sprinkler main, we will be taking up a large section of the pavement outside to dig a trench for the underground pipe. We will also need to do some work within front gardens.
Access to and from homes will be maintained, but there may be short periods during the excavation works that access will be controlled.
There will also be some noise and dust generated from the excavation works. However, additional cleaning will be carried out in this area on a regular basis which we hope will minimise any disruption.
