During the last few weeks we have been erecting scaffolding outside Goodwood Apartments in preparation for installing the new windows.
We will begin replacing the windows and undertaking works within empty flats on Monday 6 March, starting with the empty flats on level seven and continuing to work in unoccupied homes until ground level. The work will begin at 8am and continue until 5pm each day, while the noisier work will take place between 9 and 11am, and between 1 and 3pm.
If you live at Goodwood Apartments, please can you remove all valuable items from balconies to minimise the risk of damage. Operatives have been asked to not look through windows while they are on the scaffold, but you may still wish to draw your curtains.
There will also be additional vehicles on site while the new windows are being delivered and the old ones taken away.
While operatives will try to minimise any noise and disruption during the works, should any Goodwood Apartments residents wish to move to South Grove before Monday 6 March or have not yet had a viewing, please contact us. You will be sent a letter shortly with more information about this.
Likewise, if you have not yet met with Mike Wilson, the appointed independent mediator for Goodwood Apartments residents, and would like to do so, please contact him directly via the details in the letter you received from us at the beginning of February.
