Residents at Goodwood Apartments have begun to move to their new temporary homes, and will continue to do so during the next few weeks. Residents will be moving gradually to allow for the practicalities of furniture and boxes etc. being moved up and down stairs or via the lifts simultaneously, as well as having multiple moving vans and lorries on site.
During this period, there may be more vehicles than usual parked – removal vans and lorries as well as cars - outside Goodwood Apartments or nearby, or driving in and out of Walthamstow Stadium as residents make the move to their new temporary home. For this reason, there may be times when parking and access may be difficult or delayed. We would ask you to bear with us and your neighbours at Goodwood if you are inconvenienced at any point during this time.
You may also see faces you do not recognise (staff from removals firms, friends or family of residents assisting with moves). We would hope that any disruption to you is minimal but if you do see any incidents or anyone acting suspiciously, please let us know by emailing us or calling 020 8189 0930.
Once everyone at Goodwood Apartments has moved out, we will carry out the remedial works required for all the homes in this building. This is scheduled to take 12 months. Once these works are complete, those living in the remaining blocks (beginning with 1-35 Lingfield Apartments and 92-96, 65-73 and 97-100 Parade Gardens), will take it in turns to temporarily move into the homes at Goodwood while remedial works in their homes are carried out.
If you need to further discuss anything, please get in touch.
