Investigating gas vents
From Monday 15 May, we will be investigating the gas vents in the brickwork at 2-31, 32-37 and 101-112 Parade Gardens.
Not all homes will be affected but there will be some drilling noise and dust. This is at ground level only.
Roof works
From Monday 15 May, we will be carrying out some works to the roof at 32-37 Parade Gardens. This will involve removing the old insulation in preparation for new waterproofing. There will be noise (drilling etc.) but we will not need to access your home.
Combination tanker to clean waste
On 19 and 22 May, a combination tanker will be on site to collect waste by sucking debris or dislodged material from manholes.
There will be some noise for brief periods on these days and at some points access through Walthamstow Stadium will need to be controlled due to the size of the tanker. We apologise in advance for this. We will try to keep any delays to a minimum and would ask you to please allow a bit of extra time for your journey
At some points operatives may also need access to front gardens. We appreciate your cooperation with this.
Window replacement programme continuing
We will also be continuing the brickwork remedial works at 2-32 Parade Gardens and at Norfolk and Chesham Apartments in line with the window replacement programme. This involves using cherry pickers to remove some of the brickwork in various locations to check that the insulation is fitted as it should. Noise and dust will be kept to a minimum.
Sprinkler works now complete
External works to sprinklers have now been completed and new paving has been installed.
Area 3 (bays 222 to 228) which is currently having new paving installed will be available for residents parking from Monday 15 May. If you are directly affected by this, we will contact you directly to arrange collection of your parking fobs.
