Thank you to all those who came along to our Christmas event on Monday (19 December).
It was a lovely afternoon with around 20-30 households in attendance. The kids enjoyed decorating Christmas tree biscuits and doing various Christmas craft activities, including making baubles and paper chains. The adults enjoyed mingling with hot drinks and mince pies and having the opportunity to talk to members of the Tenants and Residents Association (TRA) about what they would like to see the Community hub used for in future. This feedback was captured on flipcharts and included ideas such as parent/baby coffee mornings, after school clubs, karate for kids and more.
The Resident Liaison Team made up 50 hampers full of Christmas treats to be presented to the adults, and the children were given Christmas presents.
Thanks also to those of you who helped us to set up and clear away. It was a fantastic event and we hope to have others like this in the future.
