The following article contains important information about the temporary rehousing programme.
If you are a townhouse resident, as you are not part of the rehousing programme this article is for information only.
When we wrote to everyone in Autumn 2023, we explained that we would need to temporarily rehouse you for a period of approximately 20 weeks while we carry out remediation works in your home. We also provided you with a list of timings for all phases of the project.
We have made some changes to our approach that have meant we can move timings forward and shorten the overall length of the remediation programme.
Please find below details and revised dates for each phase and core of the programme. Please note that these timings can be subject to change if issues arise during the remediation works.

What will happen next?
We recognise that having to move to a temporary home can be disruptive to your lives. Now that we are accelerating the programme, we do not want this to cause you further disruption and we will work with you closely to support you throughout. Your housing needs survey appointment is a good time to tell us about any difficulties you may have with the above timelines so we can find a way to work around it but you can contact us in advance of this if you would like to discuss any particular issues you may have with the new timings.
If you are in Core One (Phase One) or in Core Three (Phase Two), we have written to you separately with more information about what will happen next.
In the meantime, you should have recently received a link to your Housing Needs Survey. Please complete this if you haven’t done so already or if you think your circumstances may have changed to ensure that we are fully aware of your specific rehousing requirements. If you have not received a link to the survey or need us to resend this, contact us. A member of our Resident Liaison Team will also visit you at your home before you are due to be temporarily rehoused to go through your completed survey and plan your move.
We appreciate that the ongoing remedial works have already resulted in a great deal of stress and inconvenience to you and your neighbours. As you are aware, you will receive compensation in recognition of this and the disruption caused by the temporary move/rehousing.
In the meantime, if you have any questions or if there is anything you would like to discuss, please feel free to call, text, email, or write to the Resident Liaison Team as follows:
Email: WalthamstowStadium@lqgroup.org.uk
Phone/Text: 020 8189 0425
Post: The Resident Liaison and Rehousing Team, Walthamstow Stadium, 29-35 West Ham Lane, Stratford, E15 4PH
Once again, we apologise for the stress and inconvenience this has caused.
