The main play area opposite the allotments is due for regeneration.
We want Walthamstow Stadium residents (particularly those of you with young families) to be involved with how the play area should look and what equipment we should install.
There are guidelines for the design, one of which is that the play area should be suitable for 5–11 year old children. With this in mind, we are inviting those of you with children in this age range to join the discussion.
To start this process, we would like the opportunity to meet with you and your neighbours during November.
To ensure that your feedback is manageable and representative, we will have one meeting on the date that most respondents can attend. The meeting will be during the day at the community hub and led by our Senior Design & Technical Manager, Simon Gilling.
Please contact us with your preference for the following dates, including your address and age of children in the response.
Monday 13th Nov 1- 2pm
Tuesday 14th Nov 1- 2pm
Wednesday 15th Nov 1- 2pm
After the meeting, a group of interested residents will be shortlisted at random to form a working group. These residents will reflect the different tenures across the scheme and be invited to give their feedback for the design of the main play area.
**Please note, even if you are unable to make the above dates we are still happy to receive your feedback and suggestions.
We look forward to hearing from you.
