As you prepare to move from Goodwood to your new temporary home, you may at some point during the first month of your tenancy receive a letter from us telling you that you are in rent arrears.
Please do not be alarmed; this letter is nothing to worry about. It will have been autogenerated by our system and is triggered by you changing to your new tenancy, which our system could incorrectly interpret as a missed payment.
We apologise for this. We appreciate that rent arrears letters are quite harshly worded and we did not want to cause you any panic or alarm.
If you are moving to a home with the same number of bedrooms and thus paying the same level of rent: please ignore any arrears letter you may receive for the first month of your tenancy.
If you are upsizing from a one to a two bed, or a two to a three bed: there will be a difference in your rent for the first month and our team will work with you to arrange for this payment to be made. From the next month, your monthly rent payments will have been adjusted accordingly.
