On Monday 5 February, operatives from BT Openreach will be visiting Lingfield Apartments to install Ultrafast full fibre broadband. This is part of a national initiative to improve connectivity, and Openreach plans to connect 26 million homes by the end of December 2026.
If you live at Lingfield Apartments, you should shortly receive a letter from Openreach with more information. The operatives will be working in communal areas only (in riser cupboards and corridors) on each floor to install fibre optic cabling. The work will take place over nine days. During this time, there will be some drilling, but operatives will try to keep this to a minimum. Access will not be affected.

So far, fibre optic cabling has been fitted at Chesham Apartments and will ultimately be installed in all the remaining blocks at Walthamstow Stadium according to Openreach’s schedule.
